My Story

Early in my career I started out as a motion designer for TV news and cable networks. As I grew more curious, I realized linear media has limitations regarding engagement. Why watch something come and go when you can make choices, ponder your decisions, and decide how you want to interact with media?

What began as a few side projects evolved into something much bigger. Those opportunities led to the creation of my company’s first digital newsletter and blog, giving me an early appreciation for how digital content could connect people and ideas.

At Scripps Networks, I went on to design and build the company’s first employee intranet—a platform that sat at the intersection of communication, technology, and human behavior. It was there that I realized I was more interested in the experience behind the interface than the interface itself. That project sparked my passion for UX.

A few years later, I joined the team that launched the company’s first digital employee community, replacing the original blog I had created. As the platform evolved, so did my role. I found myself helping shape an expanding digital ecosystem, designing not just screens, but how people connected, collaborated, and adopted new ways of working.

That experience became the foundation of my career in UX, product strategy, and digital transformation. Today, I continue to help organizations create intuitive, scalable experiences that connect customer needs, business goals, technology, and operations—and my passion for solving complex problems through design is stronger than ever.

As my passion flourished, I learned how to code and decided to design non-linear experiences in which the user can interact with content by choosing their path. This journey led me to volunteer for related digital product work outside my 9-5 job. The more work I picked up, the more demand I had, and I soon became the go-to person for designing digital experiences.

Not a designer who thinks strategically — a strategist who designs.
